Boulder Forest Moorland

We are happy to announce our exhibition Boulder  Forest  Moorland at Kunstverein Springhornhof running from the 15.6.2024 to 29.9.2024:

In the exhibitions one moves through a fantastic world. Sculptures and objects that resemble alien beings, bizarre furniture, trophies, diagrams, an oracle, and cave-like arranged fabric panels lure one into the action.

At the centre, visitors can sit down to play the card game “Boulder  Forest  Moorland”. Various characters are available to choose from: nature lovers, wolves, Himalayan balsam… They are all part of the ecosystem, and if one walks around the Springhornhof Kunstverein, one might even encounter them.

Those who know the rules of the game, have the necessary luck, and follow a good strategy may succeed in preserving the balance of nature. We would all win!

The exhibition features interactive sculptures and installations, that use the experimental and entertaining aspects of the board game as a way to engage with complex questions and alternative actions regarding the ecological crisis without feelings of guilt or powerlessness.
