Formerly the Mycological Twist

After much work, we are excited to finally launch our new website as well as to announce that from now on we will continue working as a duo under our own names: Eloïse Bonneviot & Anne de Boer.

We remember fondly our time spend carrying the name the Mycological Twist, from its first iteration in Jupiter Woods' garden through all the amazing people this project enabled us to work with. We feel that, although the name will continue to nest deep within our practice, our work and research has broadened beyond our initial impulse when building our first works together as a duo. We will remain deeply passionate about working with mushrooms, networks, weird ecosystems, rotting stuff and friendship, but as we continue, we want to have the freedom to follow our process wherever it leads us, without the worry to justify its connexion back to the Mycological Twist. Increasingly both our own personal practises have been inviting themselves into our works, and we want to also give ourselves the space to allow for this to happen in a more transparent way. Our collaboration is an imbroglio of our shared passions and both our personal works, so we would like to continue this journey together as Eloïse Bonneviot & Anne de Boer.
